Michelle did all the crafting herself. She sent me
to following notes to share with you: I did a lot of searching around on the web for ideas and then combined
all the things I liked and put it into something I felt like I could do. As for the template for the folders, I made it myself
from looking at folders that you can buy at scrapbooking stores. Not sure if you are familiar with the store "Archivers"
but they sell the folders there. I found them to be very pricey and they didn't have the red that I was looking for. So,
I studied it and made a template for myself. Each folder requires a 12x12 piece of cardstock. I could think of no
other way, so I had to trace the template onto each page and make a few cuts by hand. I used a "Scor-It" tool to scor all my folds and then a bone tool to help crease them all nicely.
For
the paper on the inside of the invite, I simply cut those with a paper cutter and ran them through my home printer.
I used the vellum on top of the tartan, and feel like it was a nice combination- you could still see the tartan,
but it wasn't overpowering. I did have the vellum printed on at an office supply store, but everything else I printed at home. The corner punch is a punch made by "EK Success". The
ribbon punch that I used for the program comes from "Stampin' Up".
I
ordered all my envelopes from: http://paper-papers.com/ I had a very hard time finding the 5x7" envelopes
in any store, so I poked around online and found this site. I ended up odering all the envelopes from them, so they
would all match. I was impressed with their quality, selection & shipping time. I would recommend them to anyone.
